Lateral Ganglionic Eminence Progenitor Cells (LGE)


NT.LGE.LGEPCs
The lateral ganglionic eminence (LGE) progenitor cells are neural progenitor cells within the LGE domain, which is located in the ventral part of the telencephalon. The LGE progenitor cells produce striatal projection neurons and olfactory bulb interneurons. In addition, these cells give rise to oligodendrocytes that migrate into the cortex.
