Generation of neural stem cells and dopaminergic neurons via neurospheres formation

This protocol describes a method to generate neural stem cells (NSCs) and dopaminergic neurons from human embryonic stem cells (ESC). NSCs are differentiated from ESCs via the formation and further culturing of neurospheres. The derived cell types are used in cell therapy approaches for ischemic stroke and Parkinson's disease, respectively.
