Generation of folliculogenic human epithelial stem cells and keratinocytes from pluripotent stem cells

This protocol describes a method for differentiation of human epithelial stem cells (hEpSCs) from pluripotent stem cells, using EGF, retinoic acid (RA) and BMP4. These CD200+/ITGA6+ hEpSCs can further differentiate into keratinocytes or generate all hair follicle lineages in skin reconstitution assays.
