Derivation of lung epithelial cells from human embryonic stem cells via an air-liquid interface

This is the first human protocol to involve differentiation on filters in an air-liquid interface. The protocol is performed on 5 hESC lines (derived from preimplantation genetic diagnosed embryos; 4 lines have genetic mutations, unrelated to lung development).
