Direct reprogramming of mouse fibroblasts into tripotent neural precursor cells

This protocol describes the direct reprogramming of fibroblasts into proliferative neural precursor-like cells by expression of the following genes: Brn2, Sox2 and Foxg1. These cells are tripotent neural precursor cells that can give rise to neurons, astrocytes and oligodendrocytes.
