Frontal cortex - GRN related frontotemporal dementia patients vs. Frontal cortex - Normal controls

Microarray gene expressin profiling of frontal cortex tissue obtained from frontotempotal dementia (FTD) patients. Postmortem frontal cortex tissue samples were isolated from patients with subtype of FTD: lobar degeneration with ubiquitin positive inclusions (FLD-U). FLD-U patients were divided into two groups: FLD-U patients with (n=6) and without (n=10) GRN gene mutations. Patients samples were compared with  age- and sex-matched control samples (n=8). This microarray experiment contains additional brain samples from the hippocampus and the cerebellum, which were excluded from LifeMap analysis.
