CD8+ T-cells from severe asthma patients vs. CD8+ T-cells from healthy controls

Circulating CD8⁺  T-cells were isolated from 8 non-asthmatic control and 8 severe asthmatics. mRNA expression profiling was performed using U133 Affymetric microarrays. 

CD4+ T cell counts were also compared between asthmatic and non-asthmatic controls but no significant difference in gene expression was found.
