Left ventricle - Acute myocardial infarction patients vs. Left ventricle - Control subjects

Microarray gene expression analysis of heart tissue collected from acute myocardial infarction and ischemic heart disease patients. Heart left ventricular samples were obtained before and after left ventricular assist device implantation into ischemic heart disease patients (n=5), acute myocardial infarction patients (n=6) and patients with no evidence of coronary artery disease or acute myocardial infarction (control samples, n=8). In this microarray analysis, only samples obtained before treatment are analyzed.
