Tumor tissue - duodonal follicular lymphoma patients vs. Normal tissue - duodenal mucosa

Microarray gene expression profiling of tumor samples obtained from follicular lymphoma (FL) and mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma patients. Freshly frozen tumor samples were obtained from duodenal FL patients (n=10) and Helicobacter pylori-associated gastric MALT lymphoma patients (n=10). Morphologic examination and CD20 immunostaining confirmed that the percentage of tumor cells exceeded 75% in all tumor samples.
For comparison, nine normal control samples were included: duodenal mucosa (n=5), and normal gastric mucosa (n=4) samples.
This microarray experiment includes additional samples from nodal reactive lymphoid hyperplasia patients (n=8) and nodal FL patients (n=19); these samples were not included in the LifeMap analysis.
