Amniotic Ectoderm Cells (AmE)

Originating in the epiblast, the amniotic ectoderm cells form the inner lining of the amniotic cavity. An outer layer of amniotic mesenchyme forms on the outside. This two-layered membrane is called the amnion, or amniotic sac.
