pV1 Neural Domain

The V1 neural progenitor domain is a defined area within the ventral (basal) columns, from which V1 interneurons, the class of interneurons that are located at the second most dorsal column in the ventral part of the neural tube, differentiate. This region is also a source of astrocyte precursor cells.
