Myoblasts (EOM)

Myoblasts are mononucleated, undifferentiated muscle cells whose formation marks the initiation of the early stages of muscle differentiation within the prechordal mesenchyme. Their constant rate of proliferation provides supplies cells for myogenic differentiation and for continuous muscle growth.  Myoblasts express myogenic regulatory factors (MRFs).
