Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells for treatment of atrophic nonunion fractures

The aim of this study is to determine whether autologous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) injected into the nonunion site of an atrophic fracture is safe and effective. In this study, evaluation of early homing of MSCs will be performed by radiolabeling MSCs with indium.
