Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells for knee osteoarthritis

This study aims to determine the safety and efficacy of using autologous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) to treat knee osteoarthritis. Treatment is both feasible and safe, with no major adverse events recorded and results in improvement in pain, function and quality of life.
