Chondrosphere® (ACT3D-CS), articular chondrocyte spheroids for treatment of cartilage knee defects

Chondrosphere® (ACT3D-CS) is comprised of autologous three-dimensional chondrocyte spheroids indicated for treatment of patients suffering from cartilage knee lesions. Articular cartilage is obtained from the patient's macroscopically undamaged articular condyles. Following chondrocyte isolation and expansion in vitro, single chondrocytes are condensed into spheroids.
