Enriched bone marrow-derived progenitor cells for ischemic diseases

The aim of this trial is to investigate whether intraarterial infusion of autologous progenitor cells can improve organ perfusion. Bone marrow-derived progenitor cells are used to treat critical limb ischemia. Treatment proved safe and feasible and accelerated ulcer healing and pain reduction in patients with stable ulcers or rest pain.
