Cx401, adipose-derived stem cells for treatment of complex perianal fistula

The aim of this study is to assess the efficacy and safety of autologous adipose-derived stem cells (ASCs) for the treatment of complex perianal fistulas in patients without inflammatory bowel disease (e.g., Crohn's disease). ASC treatment alone or with fibrin glue was found to be safe, achieving healing rates of more than 50% within 1 year of treatment.
