Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells for retinitis pigmentosa

Rhodopsin knockout mice, a model for retinitis pigmentosa, were treated by subretinal injection of mouse bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs). The cells provide a rescue effect.
