Cultivated limbal epithelial stem cells for treatment of limbal stem cell deficiency

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of autologous transplantation of limbal epithelial stem cells cultivated on an amniotic membrane, to treat limbal stem cell deficiency resulting from severe surface irregularity and scarring of the corneal surface.
