Bone marrow-derived mononuclear cells for myocardial infarction

The aim of this study is to test whether intracoronary transplantation of autologous mononuclear bone marrow cells (BM-MNCs) improves heart function in acute myocardial infarction patients. Cell transplantation did not influence prothrombotic markers and there were only subtle differences in cardiac function.
