Peripheral blood-derived hematopoietic stem cells (Translational Research Informatics Center)

Hematopoietic stem cells derived from the peripheral blood following mobilization.

Cells are harvested by leukapheresis after 5 days of G-CSF (10 μg/kg per day) treatment. The leukapheresis product (≤2 × 108 cells/ml in autoplasma) is kept at room temperature overnight (≤18 hours) until magnetic separation of CD34+ cells (CliniMACS Instrument, CD34 reagent, phosphate-buffered saline/EDTA buffer, and tubing set).
