Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (Stempeucel™) (Stempeutics)

Culturing medium: Knockout DMEM supplemented with fetal bovine serum (10%) and L-glutamine (2 mM) in T75 flasks. Harvested cells at the end of passage 0 (P0) are seeded at a density of 1000 cells/cm² in two Cell STACK chambers. At 70–80% confluency (day 5–6), P(1) cells are harvested and an equal number of mesenchymal stem cells from each donor is pooled before plating them on a single CellSTACK, at a density of 1000 cells/cm². Basic fibroblast growth factor (2 ng/mL) is added at P(2).
