Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stromal cells (University of Sao Paulo)

Bone marrow from femur and tibia of rats were flushed out and cultivated with Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium–low glucose supplemented with fetal bovine serum (10%). Mesenchymal stem cells were isolated by their characteristic adherence to plastic culture dishes.
