Peripheral blood-derived endothelial progenitor cells (Weill Medical College of Cornell University)

Endothelial progenitor cells were isolated from peripheral blood and characterized as CD34+/VEGFR2+/AC133+ cells. In addition, they were characterized by colony-formation and migration assays.

Cells were isolated from granulocytes colony stimulating factor (G-CSF)-mobilized peripheral blood.
