BG01V - Human Embryonic Stem Cell

This embryonic stem cell (ESC) line was derived from the wild-type, parental hESC line BG01 and has an abnormal karyotype 49, XXY.

Cells were plated on mitomycin-treated CF-1 MEF. Growth medium: DMEM/F12, ESC-qualified FBS (15%), KSR (5%), L-alanyl-L-glutamine (2 mM), NEAAx1, 2-mercapto-ethanol (0.1 mM), penicillin (100 IU/ml), streptomycin (100 ug/ml), basic-FGF (4 ng/ml). Change medium every day. Passage cells every 4-5 days using Collagenase IV (200 units/ml).
