CA2 - Human Embryonic Stem Cell

This cell line was derived from preimplantation stage embryos that were no longer required for reproductive purposes following in vitro fertilization. Cells are karyotypically normal (XY), express hES specific cell surface markers and form derivatives of all three germ lineages by teratoma formation.
