This stem cell line was derived from the inner cell mass cells of cryopreserved pronuclear-stage embryos. Cells express pluripotent markers. Cells have a normal karyotype, 46,XY.
Cells are maintained on STO (mouse fibroblasts) feeder cells in knockout Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (KO-DMEM) or DMEM/F12 (Invitrogen) supplemented with knockout serum replacement (KSR,20% ), basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF,0.4 ng/ml), L-glutamine (2 mM), nonessential amino acid (1% ), β-mercaptoethanol (0.1 mM), penicillin (50 U/ml ), and streptomycin (50 μg/ml).
