All in Vitro Cells > Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell card

hIPS1 (University of California Los Angeles)

This induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line was generated from neonatal dermal fibroblasts (NHDF1) by transduction of four factors, OCT4, SOX2, C-MYC and KLF4, using a retrovirus vector and selection of TRA-1-81-positive colonies.

Cells are cultured on irradiated mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) in DMEM F12 supplemented with L-glutamine (1 mM), nonessential amino acids (1%), penicillin–streptomycin, knockout serum replacement (15%) and basic FGF (10 ng/ml).
