CCE is a mouse embryonic stem cell line derived from the 129/Sv mouse strain.

Isolation & Growth Conditions

Cells are maintained on mitomycin C-treated embryonic fibroblasts in DMEM medium supplemented with fetal calf serum (FCS, 15%), leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF, 5,000 units/ml), and beta-mercaptoethanol (50 uM).
