Generation of cartilage from pluripotent stem cells via embryoid bodies

This protocol describes the generation of chondrocyte-like cells and cartilage constructs from human pluripotent stem cells via the formation of chondrocytes-containing embryoid bodies (EBs). The derived chondrocytes express chondrogenic markers, and when disaggregated, can re-assemble into cartilage constructs.
