Generation of corneal epithelial cells from pluripotent stem cells using stromal cells

This protocol describes a method for generation of corneal epithelial cells from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) using a stromal cell-derived inducing activity (SDIA) method. In this protocol, iPSC clumps derived either from dermal fibroblasts or corneal limbal epithelium cells, are seeded on PA6 stromal cells to induce differentiation. The differentiated cells express corneal epithelial-specific markers.
