Microarray analysis of whole blood from dengue patients

Microarray gene expression profiling of whole blood samples from dengue virus-infected patients. Whole blood samples were acquired between days 2 and 9 of onset of symptoms. A total of 28 samples collected from dengue virus-infected patients were analyzed (18 dengue fever patients and 10 dengue hemorrhagic fever patients). Patient samples were compared to those of 9 healthy, non-infected subjects. This microarray experiment includes additional patient samples obtained 4 weeks or more after discharge; these samples were not included in the LifeMap analysis.
