Microarray analysis of forebrain tissues from hepatic encephalopathy and alcohol abuse patients

Microarray gene expression profiling of forebrain white matter tissues from  hepatic encephalopathy and alcohol abuse patients.  

Forebrain white matter tissues were obtained from frozen human post-mortem brains of  alcohol abuse patients without hepatic encephalopathy (n=4), alcohol abuse patients with hepatic encephalopathy (n=3) and neurologically normal control subjects (n=3).

White matter was sampled from the prefrontal cortex and the motor cortex.
