Microarray analysis of lymph node tissues from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) patients

Microarray gene expression profiling of  lymphatic tissue collected from human immunodeficiency virus (HIV1)-infected patients. Inguinal lymph node biopsies from untreated HIV1-infected patients (n=42) and healthy subjects (n=10), were compared. The test group of HIV 1-infected patients included patients at three different clinical stages of HIV-1 infection: acute HIV infection (n=16), asymptomatic HIV infection (n=18), and AIDS (n=8).
