Skeletal muscle-Myotonic dystrophy type1 patients vs. Skeletal muscle-Normal controls

Microarray gene expression profiling of skeletal muscle tissue from myotonic dystrophy (DM) patients. DM type 1 (n=10) and DM type 2 (n=20) biopsies from patients were compared to normal control muscle tissue from adult individuals (n=6). All DM1 and DM2 diagnoses were based on DNA mutation testing. DM1 and DM2 patients were of matched age, gender, and disease stage.
