Beta/Delta Progenitor Cells (DPB)

Pnc.DPB.BDPCs

The beta/delta progenitor cells are bipotent progenitors that can develop into either somatostatin-producing delta cells or insulin-producing beta cells.

In the pancreas, the differentiation of endocrine cells is non-synchronous and lasts from the secondary transition period (which is the primary time of endocrine cell differentiation) to the postnatal period.
