Blood stem cell transplantation for hematological diseases

The aim of this study was to assess the combination of peripheral blood stem cells of 2 different sources - autologous and haploidentical allogeneic. These cells are used to treat hematological cancers by transplanting the autologous cells immediately following chemotherapy and the haploidentical allogeneic transplant 40-120 days thereafter.
