MultiStem®, bone marrow-derived cells for graft vs host disease

MultiStem® are adult bone marrow-derived cells used for the prevention of graft versus host disease (GVHD). Hematopoietic stem cell-transplanted patients treated with MultiStem® after transplantation reported reduced incidence and severity of GVHD, limited infection-related complications and demonstrated relapse-free survival rates at 100 days in all treated patients. In addition, MultiStem® provided long-term allograft protection in organ transplant patients.
