ALD-451, bone marrow-derived cells for malignant glioma

ALD products are autologous aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH)-expressing stem cells derived from the bone marrow. ALD-451 cells are used for treatment of malignant glioma. Preclinical research showed that ALD-451 cells improve motor function, slow the decrease in brain volume, prevent stroke-induced cell death and improve blood flow or perfusion in the brain.
