Bone marrow-derived stem cells for treatment of diabetic foot ulcers

The objective of this study was to compare the effects of transplantation of autologous bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) versus those of implantation of bone marrow-derived mononuclear cells (MNC) for treatment of critical limb ischemia and foot ulcer secondary to diabetes.
