Bone marrow-derived hematopoietic stem cells for treatment of pediatric dilated cardiomyopathy
The purpose of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy of an autologous stem cell infusion, through a catheter, toward treatment of pediatric dilated cardiomyopathy. Children are treated with G-CSF before undergoing bone marrow extraction. The derived stem cells are then directly administered to the coronary arteries through a cardiac catheter.
