Peripheral or bone marrow-derived stem cells for chronic heart failure
The aim of this study is to compare the improvement in cardiac function and symptoms following with various stem cells treatments: Patients with chronic heart failure are treated with Granulocyte-colony stimulating factor (GCSF) to induce increase in peripheral CD34+; or treated by intracoronary or intramyocardial transplantation of autologous mononuclear bone marrow cells.
