MotorGraft™, embryonic stem cell-derived motor neuron progenitors for neuromuscular diseases
MotorGraft™ are human motor neuron progenitor (hMNP) cells derived from human embryonic stem cells. Transplantation of the hMNPs in mouse models of neuromuscular diseases demonstrated motor neuron sparing. hMNP transplants do not extend processes through myelinated central and peripheral nervous tissue to reinnervate distant muscles. Their therapeutic effect is trophic.
