Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells for treatment of type I diabetes

The aim of this study is to determine the safety and efficacy  of intravenous infusion of umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UB-MSCs) for treatment of type 1 diabetes. No side effects were recorded and HbA1c and c-peptide values improved.
