A line of mouse induced pluripotent stem cell (iPS) was established from embryonic fibroblasts by transduction of three factors (OCT3/4, SOX2 and KLF4), using a retrovirus vector. The cells express GFP under the NANOG promoter (Nanog-GFP-IRES-Puro^r).

The cells are cultured on feeder cells (irradiated SNL 76/7) in DMEM (high glucose, without sodium pyruvate), supplemented with FBS (15%), NEAA (0.1mM), 2-mercaptoethanol (0.1mM) and mouse LIF (1000U/ml).
