Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (Stemedyne™-MSC, itMSC) (Stemedica Cell Technologies)

Stemedyne-MSC are adult bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells processed in a low-oxygen environment, which increases both their targeted migratory activity compared to cells grown under normoxic conditions, as well as secretion of angiogenic factors.


The mononuclear mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) fraction is isolated from healthy human bone marrow. The cells are cultured in tissue culture dishes in hMSC growth medium comprised of DMEM/F12+Glutamax™-I basal medium, supplemented with bovine growth serum (15%) and basic fibroblast growth factor. Hypoxic culturing was performed in a humidified 5% O2 and 5% CO2 incubator, at 37°C.
