BresaGen 02 (BresaGen)

BresaGen 02 is a line of human embryonic stem cells derived from human blastocysts. These cells are positive for pluripotent markers and carry a normal karyotype: 46,XY.

Cells are maintained on a layer of mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEF), in either 20% KSR hESC medium [DMEM:F12 supplemented with KSR (20%), bFGF (4 ng/ml), glutamine (2 mM), non-essential amino acids (0.1 mM), penicillin (50 units/ml),  streptomycin (50 μg/ml), and ß-Mercaptoethanol (0.1 mM)] or in mouse embryonic fibroblast (MEF)-conditioned 20% KSR hESC medium conditioned by MEFs for 24 hours. Cells are passed with EDTA-free trypsin.
