FES22 (European Human Embryonic Stem Cell Registry)

Cells were derived from inner cell mass (ICM) isolated from human blastocysts. FES22 cells form teratomas and differentiate into cells from the three germ layers. Cells have a normal karyotype 46,XY.

Cells were cultured on HFF or MEF feeder cells (mitotically inactivated) in serum-free medium consisting of Knockout-DMEM supplemented with L-glutamine ( 2 mM) penicillin/streptomycin, Knockout Serum Replacement (20% ), non-essential amino acids (X1), beta-mercaptoethanol (0.1 mM), ITS (X1), and bFGF (4 ng/ml).
