hIPS2 (University of California Los Angeles)

This induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) line was generated from neonatal dermal fibroblasts (NHDF1) by transduction of four factors, OCT4, SOX2, C-MYC and KLF4, using a retrovirus vector and selection of TRA-1-81-positive colonies.

Cells are cultured on irradiated mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEFs) in DMEM F12 supplemented with L-glutamine (1 mM), nonessential amino acids (1%), penicillin–streptomycin, knockout serum replacement (15%) and basic FGF (10 ng/ml).
