IPS5 (Children's Hospital Corporation,Boston)

This induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) line was generated from dermal fibroblasts, by viral transduction of OCT4, SOX2, KLF4, MYC, hTERT, and SV40 large T (hTERT and SV40 large T did not integrate).

Culture medium consists of DMEM/F12, supplemented with knockout serum replacement (20%),  human recombinant basic fibroblast growth factor (10ng/ml),  nonessential amino acids (X1),  2-mercaptoethanol (5.5 mM), penicillin (50units/ml), and  streptomycin (50μg/ml).
